Here's the first 3 inches of my first Oregon sleeve. Notice a problem with the !@#$% trees?
Oh yes! They are upside down. I've already even woven in some of the ends! So Oregon is going to be on a brief time-out.
I did manage to finish one moose mitten. I duplicate stitched his eye and you still can't see it very well. I don't do well tensioning yarn when there are big blobs of color like a moose body. Had the same problem on the sweater.
And I finished an uninspiring pair of socks that I started... wait for it... in May.
I also managed to finish and mail my Master Knitter Level 1 binder today. Woot! If levels 2 and 3 take as long as level 1, I should be a master knitter in 8 to 10 years.

Love that mitten! I think that you should give your Oregon a good talking to and then make it go play with Carrie's sleeve. They *will* learn how to be good little knitting projects if it's the last thing we do.

Good excuse, I mean reason to begin Abalone! That will teach Oregon to behave herself.

Oh... that is so annoying when that happens!
I did it on my first FI, Anne Boleyn when I didn't believe it when the instructions said to turn the graph upside down! After about 20 rows, I saw why the instructions were right after all, and I was wrong.... :o(
(I always did have to learn things the hard way!)
It is probably best to set it aside for a bit...
The mittens look great!

Oh ugh! I've done that before too. Sleeves are a pain without that happening. :(
I love that mitten! I wish I could do mittens. :)
Happy New Year Sonya!

Sonya- We've all done it, don't worry about it. At least you noticed before the whole sleeve was finished.
Love the moose mitts!

Congratulations on finishing Level 1! Keep us posted - will you be working on Level 2 when 1 gets accepted? I have vowed (again) to make myself start (again) Level 1 in 2009.

Love your moose mitten! Even if it takes you a long time to complete the Master Knitters program, at least you'll have something to show for those years! Just think you're 1/3 of the way finished.

So sorry about the trees :-(
I was swearing when I just had to frog part of a mitten, so I can't imagine how you feel-
and the tension on that moose looks perfect to me - the palm and thumb are gorgeous too!

Oh, been there. Done that... Welcome to the club! But, I do agree with Marina. Maybe it's just the push you need to, you know, start up on Abalone. I would.
Yeah, what are you talking about? Your tension looks pretty good to me. They're so cute...there has to be a pattern for a matching hat somewhere...

Oh that doesn't make for a happy strander knitter. But your mitten is adorable! Love the moose. Maybe he's just squinting.

Oh, ARGH on those trees!! But I want to see Abalone too...
Congratulations on sending in your Master Knitter notebook. Keep us posted on when you start level 2. It's exciting, even if it will take a while to complete.

Well the trees will look okay when you are wearing the sweater to you. But hopefully the time out will help.
