Must Have revisited

Remember Must Have No. 1?  (I ended up using the square buttons, BTW.)  I love it, but the sleeves are way too long and the body is just a little too short.  I ripped one sleeve back with the intention of reknitting a cuff a couple of inches shorter.  This, I can assure you, is a monumental pain in the ***.  This is why it has gone no further and I didn't get to wear it at all this winter.

And it was a fun sweater to knit so I'm doing it again.  This one is in Paton's Classic Wool.  She's perking right along.

I went to knitting today at the LYS and picked up some summer sock yarn:

And some great stitch markers made by Haley, daughter of Lea-Ann, owner of Knitting Today.  Industrious young lady, that one.

Although it's supposed to get cold and stormy, the last few days have been springtime-in-the-Midwest gorgeous.  The hyacinth are blooming!  (And I love, love, love my new Canon PowerShot A570.)

Aren't the new cameras really cool. I have not used mine that much but it does make things easier. I wanted to see pictures of the Sitcom Chic. You described it so interestingly at knitting today. Sorry you are still having concerns about the Must Have. It looks a little complicated to me, but right up your alley with cables and such. Hyacinths smell wonderful, ours are a little scraggy. I need to plant more bulbs in the fall. Have a good weekend, remember those sock remains for blankies.

It's so hot here, I nearly caved in and switched on the AC. It's only April!!

Love the colours of the new sock yarns. Tomorrow, I begin Na Craga.

I love Patons Classic Wool. It shows off cables spectacularly.

Congrats on all the new stuff! Love that sock yarn especially...

I really like that color patons. The sweater is going to be really pretty.

Mmmm, new yarn, pretty stitch-markers, and flowers. :) If only it wasn't for the "problem sweater". But at least it's one you don't mind knitting again, and the new one is looking great!

" went to knitting today at the LYS and" -- haha, isn't that funny, where did you go for knitting today? At Knitting Today! ROFL . . . okay, so its a Saturday night at Pretty Lake and there are no funny neighbors to laugh at in between you and me.

The needles will be busy.

Look at all your gorgeous sweaters! I've missed a lot in my absence!

And I love your Must Have, Part Deux too! It's a good sign when you have a pattern you're willing to knit more than once.

Sonya- I almost never go back and fix anything- once I'm done, I'm done. I admire you.

I have the Powershot- it's the best. Very user friendly.
