Blogging mojo: I think it’s back! I should have moved to WordPress years ago.
I actually have a few FOs that I finished in the long blog silence since February. Hopefully I’ll be able to get a post up more than once a year in 2012.
Project: Cassidy
Yarn: Cascade 220
Needles: US7
Comments: The only modification was to change the hood to a collar. I can only wear hoods with my hair up or it becomes an epic rat’s nest. I really love this project. The color is great and it fits well. I’m looking forward to getting it out when it gets a little colder.
Next up, Royale. A definite departure for me with the fittedness and the scoop-neckiness.

Comments: I really love twisted, traveling stitches. Seriously. Love them. I thoroughly enjoyed knitting this up. If I had it to do over, I’d put a faux seam up the sides so I didn’t have to work increases and decreases into moss stitch. I started over after about 6″ in because the inc/dec looked terrible.
More to come soon! I have more FOs to share (they pile up over the course of a year).
You’re back. I love see your finished projects and your in progress stuff too. Looks like these sweaters should start to get some use as the weather has turned colder in your neck of the world. How are things otherwise?
Looks like you’re making big strides in sweaters these days; both are lovely. I love the traveling stitches, too, for the texture.
